Radmilo Ljubanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinko Goljanac, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 4th minute, Joksim Đurašković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radmilo Ljubanović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinko Goljanac in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Krnješevci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Voja Tošić to maneuver through the defense. When Uroš Bećirović fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirot FK's protests and gave Uroš Bećirović a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pirot FK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Uroš Bećirović hit a great ball. Radmilo Ljubanović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radoslav Zorić's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Pirot FK's goal looked a bit too open when Radoslav Zorić came free, but Radmilo Ljubanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Pirot FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Rakočević to maneuver through the defense. Dinko Goljanac might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radmilo Ljubanović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinko Goljanac ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Vlastimir Drageljević managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Pirot FK's Jevrem Moravčić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pirot FK's Radmilo Ljubanović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinko Goljanac in the 21st minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Krnješevci's goalkeeper Vlastimir Drageljević had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jevrem Moravčić. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslav Zorić in the 39th minute of play forced Pirot FK's goalkeeper Radmilo Ljubanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dinko Goljanac came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Krnješevci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinko Goljanac couldn't finish the play. If Jevrem Moravčić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miloje Vojnović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Vlastimir Drageljević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miloje Vojnović to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radoslav Zorić in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radmilo Ljubanović saved Pirot FK from getting behind. Vlastimir Drageljević stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miloje Vojnović's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hristivoje Kotorčević during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hristivoje Kotorčević kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Pirot FK's Radmilo Ljubanović got control of the ball when Dinko Goljanac tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Miloje Vojnović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dinko Goljanac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Radoslav Zorić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radmilo Ljubanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirot FK's goalkeeper Radmilo Ljubanović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vlastimir Drageljević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jevrem Moravčić, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Hristivoje Kotorčević was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hristivoje Kotorčević hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jevrem Moravčić in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlastimir Drageljević prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
