In the 4th minute Gligorije Karajičić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ratomir Jovančov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milić Medenica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ratomir Jovančov having to make a save. Gornja Toplica's Ratomir Jovančov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gligorije Karajičić in the 12th minute of play. Miroljub Anđelić hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Šabac's Gligorije Karajičić in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ratomir Jovančov was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Gligorije Karajičić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Šabac's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Levkić during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Šabac got a freekick which was hit by Igor Levkić. Filip Stojić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matija Graovac having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Šabac's Gligorije Karajičić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ratomir Jovančov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Milić Medenica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gligorije Karajičić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ratomir Jovančov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matija Graovac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milorad Vanevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Filip Stojić fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gornja Toplica's protests and gave Filip Stojić a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Gornja Toplica got a freekick which was hit by Filip Stojić. Gavrilo Stanojević hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Milić Medenica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Šabac's supporters rose to their feet, but Milić Medenica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ratomir Jovančov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ratomir Jovančov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Levkić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Milić Medenica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Šabac's supporters rose to their feet, but Milić Medenica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ratomir Jovančov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Stojić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Stojić to make the kick off. Husein Zorić charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Husein Zorić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Šabac's Husein Zorić got a free kick in the 55th minute. Milić Medenica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ratomir Jovančov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ratomir Jovančov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milić Medenica in the 71st minute of play. Gligorije Karajičić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ratomir Jovančov having to interfere. Matija Graovac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Stojić in the 76th minute of the match. Milić Medenica might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ratomir Jovančov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milić Medenica ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Gornja Toplica getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Filip Stojić hit a great ball. Vladan Vranković kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Šabac's Milić Medenica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ratomir Jovančov narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
