The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Lazarevo OFK's zone, Vladimir Pejčinović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragan Kračunov came out of the goal and Vladimir Pejčinović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dragan Milinović came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Lazarevo OFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragan Milinović couldn't finish the play. Kulpin's Mirko Eškić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Kulpin from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Kulpin booed when Lazarevo OFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radenko Milovac didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Kulpin's Vladimir Pejčinović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dragan Kračunov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 45th minute Vladimir Pejčinović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragan Kračunov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Želimir Marunović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mirko Eškić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragan Kračunov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Pejčinović's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Lazarevo OFK's Jakša Ljubenović made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mirko Eškić was left in no man's land by his defense there! Igor Radosavljević blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dragan Kračunov having to make a save. When Želimir Marunović came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Lazarevo OFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Želimir Marunović couldn't finish the play. Lazarevo OFK's Dragan Kračunov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Lazarevo OFK from getting a goal against them. If Vladimir Pejčinović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lazarevo OFK's Dragan Kračunov got control of the ball when Igor Radosavljević tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kulpin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lazarevo OFK.
