Spectators: 6814 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Naum Vasić took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dragoljub Gavrić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 2ndth minute tested the skills of Radoš Đušić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dimitrije Virijević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Puniša Spasić in the 9th minute of play. Kovin were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Toplica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naum Vasić took the corner. 14 minutes into the match, Toplica's goal looked a bit too open when Nebojša Đaković came free, but Dimitrije Virijević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Naum Vasić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toplica's Dimitrije Virijević was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Naum Vasić made a precise shot to the right of Dimitrije Virijević. Toplica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Toplica's Dimitrije Virijević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naum Vasić in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Toplica defense, Puniša Spasić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitrije Virijević. The Toplica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitrije Virijević should have stopped the shot. After 39 minutes, Puniša Spasić made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Toplica's Dimitrije Virijević tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogosav Stavrić during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Toplica getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bogosav Stavrić hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Toplica's Časlav Petović got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute Naum Vasić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitrije Virijević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Kovin were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasilije Krkanović was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Toplica's Dragoljub Gavrić got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Puniša Spasić came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Kovin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Puniša Spasić couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Dragoljub Gavrić notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Kovin's Radoš Đušić. Radoš Đušić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Kovin's Naum Vasić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitrije Virijević narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Kovin's goal looked a bit too open when Vasilije Krkanović came free, but Radoš Đušić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragoljub Gavrić struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Radoš Đušić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toplica. Igor Kučević took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radoš Đušić. Kovin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Puniša Spasić got free with Dimitrije Virijević in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toplica were furious when Mihajlo Nedeljković was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Kovin. Naum Vasić stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dimitrije Virijević. 1-4. Naum Vasić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dimitrije Virijević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasilije Krkanović kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes, Naum Vasić made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Toplica's Dimitrije Virijević tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Kovin's Naum Vasić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dimitrije Virijević. That made the score 1-6 after 92 minutes of play. In the 95th minute, Puniša Spasić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Naum Vasić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dimitrije Virijević. That made the score 1-7 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Kovin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Toplica.
