Mitar Komljenović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ristivoje Asanović might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mitar Komljenović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ristivoje Asanović ran back to his position shaking his head. Kneževac FK's Mitar Komljenović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ristivoje Asanović in the 21st minute of play. Ristivoje Asanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitar Komljenović having to interfere. Alimpije Bokovac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ristivoje Asanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mitar Komljenović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ristivoje Asanović kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alimpije Bokovac was the one to do the kick off. Boris Kotur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Tintor having to interfere. Živorad Mujević struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mitar Komljenović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Južni Banat. Kneževac FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Južni Banat the free kick. Mitar Komljenović was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paun Trivunac. Mirko Tintor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alimpije Bokovac went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Živorad Mujević managed to get in a good position for a shot. Južni Banat's supporters rose to their feet, but Živorad Mujević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitar Komljenović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Živorad Mujević fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mitar Komljenović made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Živorad Mujević sent off a good shot on target.
