Savo Majić charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Savo Majić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee ignored Vršac's protests and gave Vuk Radanović a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vršac's goalkeeper Milivoje Nosović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vršac's zone, Mihajlo Jorgačević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milivoje Nosović came out of the goal and Mihajlo Jorgačević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Milan Divljaković in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Milivoje Nosović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihajlo Jorgačević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Milan Divljaković came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ogar OFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milan Divljaković couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Milan Divljaković got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihajlo Jorgačević kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Milivoje Nosović. That made the score 1-2 in the 92 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ogar OFK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
