Milutin Nenadović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergije Andonovski in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Vojimir Radičević ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anđelko Mikša was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sreten Maričić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anđelko Mikša having to interfere. Sergije Andonovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Milutin Nenadović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Podunavlje OFK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bajina Bašta's performance. The match ended with a win for Bajina Bašta.
