Dragan Rukavina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for I M R. I M R's José Maria Coutinho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vitomir Ljubenović, made in the 15th minute of the game. Ratko Radošević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When I M R's Ratko Radošević in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Svrljig FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute, Gojko Bulić fired a really elegant long shot, but Dragan Rukavina threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When I M R's Ratko Radošević in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Svrljig FK's goalie prevented a goal. After 30 played minutes Svrljig FK got a freekick which was hit by Milutin Nedić. Ratko Radošević received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dragan Rukavina came out and tried to block the shot, but Ratko Radošević slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. In the 34th match minute, I M R was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gojko Bulić to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ratko Radošević managed to get in a good position for a shot. I M R's supporters rose to their feet, but Ratko Radošević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragan Rukavina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ratko Radošević kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ratko Radošević to make the kick off. Ratko Radošević blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dragan Rukavina having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, I M R's goalkeeper Slaviša Gavarić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dojčilo Rikanović. Ratko Radošević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toplica Kljajić hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ratko Radošević couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute of the match Gojko Bulić shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dragan Rukavina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dragan Rukavina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ratko Radošević in the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Vojislav Kamberović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. I M R's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vojislav Kamberović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vojislav Kamberović's late challenge caught a Svrljig FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vojislav Kamberović helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, I M R was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vojislav Kamberović to maneuver through the defense. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
