When Žika Vučenić came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Golemo Selo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Žika Vučenić couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ripanj getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Živorad Kelečević hit a great ball. Uglješa Pustinjaković hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Ripanj's goal looked a bit too open when Ratko Eterović came free, but Novica Vulinović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rastko Milonjić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Golemo Selo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sima Cvetković hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Golemo Selo's zone, Rastko Milonjić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grujica Karavesović came out of the goal and Rastko Milonjić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grujica Karavesović came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Ripanj's Rajko Brezančić. But to his dismay, Rajko Brezančić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rajko Brezančić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grujica Karavesović having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Žika Vučenić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golemo Selo's supporters rose to their feet, but Žika Vučenić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Novica Vulinović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Žika Vučenić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rastko Milonjić to make the kick off. Grujica Karavesović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rastko Milonjić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ripanj's Rastko Milonjić got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Novica Vulinović was a little too slow when Ratko Eterović got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. Golemo Selo's Grujica Karavesović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitar Maksimović in the 62nd minute of play. If Ratko Eterović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Golemo Selo's goal looked a bit too open when Rajko Brezančić came free, but Grujica Karavesović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ratko Eterović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mitar Maksimović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Golemo Selo's Sima Cvetković got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Rastko Milonjić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Golemo Selo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borivoje Vučurević to maneuver through the defense. Mitar Maksimović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rastko Milonjić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grujica Karavesović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Ripanj were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Golemo Selo for a fine match.
