An unexpectedly hard shot by Rastko Milonjić in the 5th minute of play forced Crepaja FK's goalkeeper Željko Virić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Crepaja FK's Metodije Čavić got a free kick in the 18th minute. Živorad Kelečević, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Mitar Maksimović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. Mitar Maksimović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Željko Virić having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Čubrilo Brnović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crepaja FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Čubrilo Brnović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hasan Šišić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Novica Vulinović made a huge save. Mitar Maksimović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Željko Virić having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Crepaja FK got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Šišić. 37 minutes into the match, Crepaja FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rastko Milonjić came free, but Željko Virić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hasan Šišić during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Crepaja FK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hasan Šišić hit a great ball. In the 41st minute of the match Živorad Kelečević shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Željko Virić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Crepaja FK's Željko Virić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rastko Milonjić in the 42nd minute of play. Rastko Milonjić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Željko Virić having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rastko Milonjić to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Vukajlo Trifković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mitar Maksimović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Željko Virić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rastko Milonjić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ripanj's goalkeeper Novica Vulinović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ripanj fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Ripanj:s Novica Vulinović showed great skill when he stopped Milutin Šašić:s penalty. In the 82nd minute Čubrilo Brnović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Novica Vulinović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Čubrilo Brnović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Čubrilo Brnović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitar Maksimović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Željko Virić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
