When Jovan Makević came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Užice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jovan Makević couldn't finish the play. Užice's Jovan Makević got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jovan Makević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Oliver Brđanin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Užice's Nebojša Gavran got control of the ball when Mladen Stević tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16th play minutes Jovan Makević shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Oliver Brđanin and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 21st minute, Ljuba Vlašić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Brđanin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Oliver Brđanin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jovan Makević went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Ignjatije Ljubinković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Oliver Brđanin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Jovan Makević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Brđanin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jovan Makević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Užice booed when Kanjiža OFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danojlo Mujović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Brđanin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignjatije Ljubinković in the 49th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jovan Makević to strike the kick off in the second half. Užice's Nebojša Gavran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mladen Stević in the 58th minute of play. Nebojša Gavran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mladen Stević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigorije Otašević in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oliver Brđanin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jovan Makević in the 63rd minute of play forced Kanjiža OFK's goalkeeper Oliver Brđanin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Užice fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Užice's Ignjatije Ljubinković looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignjatije Ljubinković kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oliver Brđanin. That made the score 0-7 in the 70 minute of play. Oliver Brđanin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jovan Makević's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Oliver Brđanin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignjatije Ljubinković in the 83rd minute. After 92 minutes, Ljuba Vlašić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kanjiža OFK and the Užice players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kanjiža OFK's Ljuba Vlašić got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Kanjiža OFK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Danojlo Mujović hit a great ball. Ignjatije Ljubinković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Brđanin having to interfere.
