Ranisav Božanić made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Mladen Stević sent off a good shot on target. Zoran Muslin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Oliver Brđanin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoran Muslin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zoran Muslin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Kanjiža OFK's Dane Agatonović seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dane Agatonović the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kanjiža OFK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dane Agatonović had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 51 minutes into the game, one of Kanjiža OFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Oliver Brđanin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoran Muslin, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When Ranko Pejčić came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Deronje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ranko Pejčić couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
