An unexpectedly hard shot by Milojko Đuković in the 2nd minute of play forced Torda's goalkeeper Dragiša Tepavčević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uglješa Durutović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragiša Tepavčević having to interfere. Gvozden Simović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dušan Ikić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sirig OFK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Milun Nenezić hit a great ball. Torda's Dragić Čonić got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cvijan Miljanić kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Dragić Čonić came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Torda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragić Čonić couldn't finish the play. Slobodan Laličić kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Torda's Dragić Čonić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gvozden Simović. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Mirko Konjović hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Dragiša Tepavčević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cvijan Miljanić in the 32nd minute of play. Uglješa Durutović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragiša Tepavčević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milojko Đuković in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milojko Đuković stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dušan Ikić struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gvozden Simović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torda. Uglješa Durutović who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Dragiša Tepavčević when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Dušan Ikić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torda's supporters rose to their feet, but Dušan Ikić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gvozden Simović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gvozden Simović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Ikić, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Cvijan Miljanić came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Sirig OFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cvijan Miljanić couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Milojko Đuković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragiša Tepavčević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Torda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Željko Kukić to maneuver through the defense. When Sirig OFK's Milojko Đuković in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torda's goalie prevented a goal. If Milojko Đuković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Torda getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Milojko Sokić hit a great ball. Dragiša Tepavčević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milojko Đuković, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 94 played minutes, Torda's Novica Radenović shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gvozden Simović came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Torda reached it. Torda's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
