When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Dragan Nestorov put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dragiša Tepavčević. Dragan Nestorov was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Željko Kukić charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Željko Kukić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Torda's Željko Kukić got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute Dušan Ikić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidor Tasković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Ikić in the 29th minute of play forced BARSENAL's goalkeeper Isidor Tasković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidor Tasković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Ikić in the 33rd minute of the match. Dragiša Tepavčević was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Dragan Nestorov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dragan Nestorov really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Dragić Čonić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidor Tasković having to interfere. Dragan Nestorov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dragiša Tepavčević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of BARSENAL booed when Torda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Željko Kukić didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Torda's goalkeeper Dragiša Tepavčević had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boris Milačić. Goran Mirić kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dragić Čonić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torda's supporters rose to their feet, but Dragić Čonić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidor Tasković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidor Tasković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Ikić in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Čedomir Mirazić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BARSENAL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torda the free kick. Čedomir Mirazić hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dragić Čonić got free with Isidor Tasković in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Dobrašin Nedić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Boris Milačić made a precise shot to the right of Dragiša Tepavčević. Torda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragan Nestorov in the 83rd minute of play forced Torda's goalkeeper Dragiša Tepavčević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boris Milačić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dragiša Tepavčević came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by BARSENAL's Dragan Nestorov. But to his dismay, Dragan Nestorov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 94th minute, Goran Mirić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidor Tasković made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Dragić Čonić sent off a good shot on target.
