Lešnica's Stefan Rnjaković got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Saša Sinđić took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Puriša Vidić to make any attempt to save it. Puriša Vidić made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Danilo Ognjenović sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Nova Varoš booed when Lešnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobrilo Smailagic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puriša Vidić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joksim Vitošević's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Nova Varoš's Saša Sinđić dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Rnjaković to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Lešnica's goal looked a bit too open when Saša Sinđić came free, but Puriša Vidić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Saša Sinđić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lešnica's Puriša Vidić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Joksim Vitošević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Puriša Vidić was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Saša Sinđić put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Puriša Vidić. Puriša Vidić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Puriša Vidić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Ognjenović in the 87th minute of play. Saša Sinđić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Danilo Ognjenović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Varoš's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Ognjenović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Lešnica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milutin Vulićević to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Tanasije Tomašev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nova Varoš walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
