The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Mladen Bitić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranovac and the Drugovac FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mladen Bitić hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Krsta Gavarić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ranko Ugrenović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Krsta Gavarić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ranko Ugrenović. Ranovac's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krsta Gavarić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Ranovac's goal looked a bit too open when Krsta Gavarić came free, but Ranko Ugrenović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drugovac FK's Aleksandar Pavlović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ðorđe Milićev in the 14th minute of play. In the 24th minute Predrag Nurković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ranko Ugrenović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ranko Ugrenović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darko Pjevac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Drugovac FK were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Ranovac's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Momčilo Mrđanin took the corner. The supporters of Ranovac booed when Drugovac FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ratko Markićević didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Darko Pjevac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drugovac FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranovac the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Darko Pjevac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vukašin Tujković shot from long distance in the 33rd minute, but Aleksandar Pavlović was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Ranovac's goal looked a bit too open when Krsta Gavarić came free, but Ranko Ugrenović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drugovac FK's Predrag Nurković got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Krsta Gavarić came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Drugovac FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krsta Gavarić couldn't finish the play. Ranko Ugrenović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Predrag Nurković, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Drugovac FK's Krsta Gavarić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ranko Ugrenović narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Predrag Nurković stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aleksandar Pavlović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ðorđe Milićev in the 55th minute of play. Ðorđe Milićev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Ðorđe Milićev notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Drugovac FK's Aleksandar Pavlović. Aleksandar Pavlović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aleksandar Pavlović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Lovrić in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Ðorđe Milićev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Aleksandar Pavlović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Krsta Gavarić kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ranovac's keeper Ranko Ugrenović was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 75 minutes into the match, Drugovac FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ðorđe Milićev came free, but Aleksandar Pavlović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Ranovac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matija Kontić to maneuver through the defense. Predrag Nurković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ranko Ugrenović having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Predrag Nurković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Drugovac FK's Krsta Gavarić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ranko Ugrenović. That made the score 2-3 after 95 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Drugovac FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
