After a rather tough play, Knjaževac's Blagoje Tasić got a free kick in the 4th minute. Milan Glamočanin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ostoja Bajević made a huge save. In the 11th minute of the match Alimpije Kanja shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodoljub Radonjić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 14 minutes, Stevan Vemić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sremska Mitrovica OFK and the Knjaževac players grew even worse after the yellow card. Knjaževac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blagoje Tasić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blagoje Tasić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, one of Sremska Mitrovica OFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sremska Mitrovica OFK. Milan Glamočanin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saša Bradić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Rodoljub Radonjić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
