Trifun Krkanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janča Sinđelić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Srđan Radović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trifun Krkanović was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mihailo Lačarak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veljko Mikić in the 25th minute of play. If Vojko Stevović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. Veljko Mikić was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bač fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gajdobra FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
