Uroš Prokić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Milun Mehmedović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Uroš Prokić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ratimir Kaluđerović was the one to do the kick off. Vićentije Stankić made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Milija Opsenica sent off a good shot on target. Donji Milanovac OFK's Vićentije Stankić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ratimir Kaluđerović in the 54th minute of play. When Miladin Obradović was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. Krivaja FK's Ratimir Kaluđerović got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Zoran Ćirović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uroš Prokić was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Krivaja FK's zone, Zoran Ćirović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uroš Prokić came out of the goal and Zoran Ćirović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Dušan Levnajić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Ratimir Kaluđerović fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vićentije Stankić, passed just outside the right post. Milija Opsenica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Vićentije Stankić made a huge save. After some careless play in the Krivaja FK defense, Milun Mehmedović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uroš Prokić. The Krivaja FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uroš Prokić should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Božidar Jojić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Krivaja FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Donji Milanovac OFK the free kick. After 90 played minutes Krivaja FK got a freekick which was hit by Božidar Jojić. If Milun Mehmedović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 98 played minutes Krivaja FK got a freekick which was hit by Božidar Jojić. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Donji Milanovac OFK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Krivaja FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
