Ranko Jašić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milija Opsenica, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to Veliko Gradište getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ratko Martinović hit a great ball. With a little luck, Krivaja FK's Uroš Prokić got control of the ball when Momčilo Simonović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Krivaja FK's Ratimir Kaluđerović got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milija Opsenica in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ranko Jašić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Momčilo Simonović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, one of Veliko Gradište:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jadranko Živković shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ranko Jašić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Čedomir Milićev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Srećko Lipovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Uroš Prokić made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krsto Lazić during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Krivaja FK! Uroš Prokić went to the wrong direction when Rastislav Tonković was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Momčilo Simonović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Uroš Prokić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ratimir Kaluđerović to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Veliko Gradište's goalkeeper Ranko Jašić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milija Opsenica. When Veliko Gradište's Momčilo Simonović in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Krivaja FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 62nd minute, Viktor Minić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uroš Prokić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rastislav Tonković in the 64th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Krivaja FK got a freekick which was hit by Simon Todorović. In the 68th minute, Srećko Lipovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uroš Prokić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Srećko Lipovski went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 77 played minutes Ratimir Kaluđerović could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-1 into the left cross. 84 minutes into the match, Srećko Lipovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uroš Prokić. Krivaja FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Srećko Lipovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ratimir Kaluđerović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Todorović had several of the Veliko Gradište's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Ranko Jašić as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milija Opsenica got free with Ranko Jašić in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
