Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stojko Vujatović started the match with the kick off. Mirsad Mladenović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stojko Vujatović in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Banatska Palanka FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoran Mančić to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Banatska Palanka FK's Jovan Nestorovski got a free kick in the 11th minute. Voja Đaković blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dušan Vidljinović having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uroš Kamenović in the 32nd minute of play forced Banatska Palanka FK's goalkeeper Mirsad Mladenović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Stojko Vujatović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mirsad Mladenović was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Banatsko Aranđelovo FK's Uroš Kamenović in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Banatska Palanka FK's goalie prevented a goal. Mirsad Mladenović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stojko Vujatović, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Banatska Palanka FK's Mirsad Mladenović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stojko Vujatović in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Banatska Palanka FK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mirko Čojić hit a great ball. After 48 played minutes, Banatsko Aranđelovo FK's Savo Ćirović shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mirsad Mladenović came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Banatsko Aranđelovo FK reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Voja Đaković to make the kick off. Stojko Vujatović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stojko Vujatović in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mirsad Mladenović saved Banatska Palanka FK from getting behind. If Uroš Kamenović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Uroš Kamenović came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Banatsko Aranđelovo FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uroš Kamenović couldn't finish the play. Uroš Kamenović who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Mirsad Mladenović when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Banatska Palanka FK's Goran Rankić got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uroš Kamenović got free with Mirsad Mladenović in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Banatska Palanka FK's Mirsad Mladenović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stojko Vujatović in the 70th minute of play. Uroš Kamenović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirsad Mladenović having to interfere. If Uroš Kamenović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Uroš Kamenović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banatsko Aranđelovo FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Uroš Kamenović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mirsad Mladenović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jovan Nestorovski hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Vasilj Kerunović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dušan Vidljinović having to interfere. Savo Ćirović kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Cvijan Stojković sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dušan Vidljinović skillfully saved the ball. When the match was over Banatsko Aranđelovo FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Banatska Palanka FK throughout the match.
