Milijan Rajić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cvetko Maraš having to interfere. Cvetko Maraš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milijan Rajić in the 16th minute of play. Vojislav Jakovljević's late challenge caught a Fk Sloboda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vojislav Jakovljević helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fk Sloboda booed when Smederevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vojislav Jakovljević didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Srđan Kanjak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Smederevo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Milijan Rajić scored to the left of an out of position Cvetko Maraš, making the score, 2-0. Cvetko Maraš made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Srđan Kanjak sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Srđan Kanjak notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Smederevo's Cvetko Maraš. Cvetko Maraš was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Milijan Rajić made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Fk Sloboda's Milijan Rajić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cvetko Maraš narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Smederevo's Cvetko Maraš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milijan Rajić in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Srđan Kanjak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cvetko Maraš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Srđan Kanjak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes of play, Fk Sloboda's Milorad Krivokapić made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cvetko Maraš was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71stth minute of the game Srđan Kanjak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smederevo's Cvetko Maraš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Milijan Rajić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cvetko Maraš having to make a save. Milijan Rajić struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Cvetko Maraš didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fk Sloboda. In the 79th minute Milijan Rajić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cvetko Maraš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Smederevo's zone, Milijan Rajić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cvetko Maraš came out of the goal and Milijan Rajić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milijan Rajić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cvetko Maraš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Smederevo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mijalko Trišanović hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Srđa Dišljenković shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cvetko Maraš showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Boban Arsić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazar Stokić, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
