Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radmilo Tomčić in the 8th minute of play forced Bosilegrad's goalkeeper Jelisije Krivokapić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Bosilegrad got a freekick which was hit by Todor Jelisavac. Smederevo's Cvetko Maraš proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Smederevo from getting a goal against them. If Sergije Đurđević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergije Đurđević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Cvetko Maraš made a huge save. Jelisije Krivokapić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazar Stokić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Makarije Despotović charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Makarije Despotović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Smederevo booed when Bosilegrad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makarije Despotović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ljuba Kaplanović had several of the Smederevo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Cvetko Maraš as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergije Đurđević during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bosilegrad getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sergije Đurđević hit a great ball. After 34 minutes of play Bosilegrad's Makarije Despotović was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sergije Đurđević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cvetko Maraš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radmilo Tomčić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jelisije Krivokapić having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergije Đurđević was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Sergije Đurđević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smederevo's Cvetko Maraš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Smederevo's zone, Ljuba Kaplanović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cvetko Maraš came out of the goal and Ljuba Kaplanović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Milija Đurić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bosilegrad's Ljuba Kaplanović in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Smederevo's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 minutes, Todor Jelisavac mouthed his way into the referee's book. If Radmilo Tomčić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Sergije Đurđević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bosilegrad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergije Đurđević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bosilegrad's Todor Jelisavac got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergije Đurđević recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ljuba Kaplanović came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Bosilegrad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ljuba Kaplanović couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Milija Đurić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
