But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veljko Bogićević couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 27 in the game by Savo Milentijević from a close distance when the talented Nikola Stokić managed to make a qualified save. FK Naftasi's players were relieved. Marko Iliev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veljko Bogićević in the 31st minute of the match. A very good chance. Stefan Bunić struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Nikola Stokić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tekstilac. The supporters of Tekstilac booed when FK Naftasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miloje Budić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Zlatko Čajetinac sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FK Naftasi's Nikola Stokić didn't even have to move. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Žarko Šaranov was the one to do the kick off. Nikola Stokić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Vojislav Grujičić could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Marko Iliev however easily saved by the left post. Srđan Dinić kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Savo Milentijević took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikola Stokić. Nikola Stokić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Milan Vidić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tekstilac's Savo Milentijević got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the FK Naftasi defense, Savo Milentijević kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikola Stokić. The FK Naftasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikola Stokić should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Tekstilac's goalkeeper Marko Iliev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vojislav Grujičić. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vojislav Grujičić during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vojislav Grujičić kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the FK Naftasi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tekstilac.
