Marko Iliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krsta Cvejić, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Savo Milentijević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Slaven Milosavljev made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Žarko Šaranov took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Slaven Milosavljev to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Tekstilac booed when FK Banja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Voja Mikša didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Žarko Šaranov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tekstilac fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tekstilac's zone, Krsta Cvejić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Iliev came out of the goal and Krsta Cvejić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimitrije Vukelić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krsta Cvejić to strike the kick off in the second half. If Savo Milentijević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tekstilac reached it. After a rather tough play, Tekstilac's Savo Milentijević got a free kick in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tekstilac fully deserved thier win.
