Spectators: 6860 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pavle Vranković took the kick off in the first half of the match. Savo Milentijević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tomislav Bakrač tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tekstilac's Marko Iliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavle Vranković in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tekstilac's Stefan Bunić got a free kick in the 7th minute. Dario Lučić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Marko Iliev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Sonta OFK's goal looked a bit too open when Savo Milentijević came free, but Tomislav Bakrač reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jugoslav Bingulac's late challenge caught a Tekstilac's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jugoslav Bingulac helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tekstilac booed when Sonta OFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jugoslav Bingulac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zlatko Čajetinac took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomislav Bakrač. Sonta OFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Zlatko Čajetinac shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomislav Bakrač showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Sonta OFK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Milivoje Stevanović hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Žarko Šaranov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tekstilac's supporters rose to their feet, but Žarko Šaranov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomislav Bakrač breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 minutes of play, Tekstilac's Žarko Šaranov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomislav Bakrač was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stefan Bunić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savo Milentijević struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Tomislav Bakrač didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tekstilac. In the 45th minute of the match Zlatko Čajetinac shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomislav Bakrač showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tomislav Bakrač came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Tekstilac's Savo Milentijević. But to his dismay, Savo Milentijević quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Tekstilac were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Žarko Šaranov to strike the kick off in the second half. Savo Milentijević who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Tomislav Bakrač when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tekstilac's Žarko Šaranov got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomislav Bakrač didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Žarko Šaranov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tomislav Bakrač tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Žarko Šaranov in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomislav Bakrač prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Žarko Šaranov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Savo Milentijević managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tekstilac's supporters rose to their feet, but Savo Milentijević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomislav Bakrač breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Savo Milentijević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomislav Bakrač made an important save on a dangerous shot by Savo Milentijević in the 80th minute. Savo Milentijević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomislav Bakrač having to interfere. Žarko Šaranov struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Tomislav Bakrač didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tekstilac. When Žarko Šaranov came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tekstilac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Žarko Šaranov couldn't finish the play. Tekstilac's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
