In the 19th minute, Jovan Bajević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamenko Perić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bojan Jurišić having to interfere. Svetomir Zebić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gojko Obradović, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Kamenko Perić's late challenge caught a PG Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
