After 5 minutes, Dragoljub Vračarević mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Ratnik and the Skywalkers players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Antonije Radenković came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Skywalkers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonije Radenković couldn't finish the play. Radivoje Ljuboja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonije Radenković, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Radivoje Ljuboja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vuk Kanja in the 45th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes FK Ratnik got a freekick which was hit by Mijat Kostadinović. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Ratnik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rajko Mirić was slow to take the kick. During this time Skywalkers's players had a chance to rest. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd match minute, FK Ratnik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoljub Vračarević to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Srđan Radak in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Srba Bošnjak saved Skywalkers from getting behind. The supporters of FK Ratnik booed when Skywalkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Žarko Nurković didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, one of FK Ratnik:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Ratnik. Rajko Mirić walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 79 minutes into the match, Skywalkers's goal looked a bit too open when Srđan Radak came free, but Srba Bošnjak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Strahinja Janković suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Mijat Kostadinović's late challenge caught a Skywalkers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mijat Kostadinović helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skywalkers booed when FK Ratnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Skywalkers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
