The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sredoje Jelisavčić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ranko Barišić in the 3rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Dobrašin Boričić sped through Dorćol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dragan Srnić. Sredoje Jelisavčić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gradimir Čelić, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sredoje Jelisavčić came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorćol's Ranko Barišić. But to his dismay, Ranko Barišić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ranko Barišić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ranko Barišić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sredoje Jelisavčić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Сербс Јунајтед getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Grgur Martinović hit a great ball. If Gradimir Čelić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ranko Barišić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ranko Barišić struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Sredoje Jelisavčić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorćol. Ranko Barišić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sredoje Jelisavčić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gradimir Čelić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Ranko Barišić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sredoje Jelisavčić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Dorćol's Ranko Barišić made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sredoje Jelisavčić was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Сербс Јунајтед players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dorćol were winning 1-2.

When Grgur Martinović fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Сербс Јунајтед's protests and gave Grgur Martinović a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Сербс Јунајтед's Grgur Martinović got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gradimir Čelić got free with Sredoje Jelisavčić in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gradimir Čelić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radmilo Bekan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gradimir Čelić's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Sredoje Jelisavčić skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th minute, Gradimir Čelić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Сербс Јунајтед's Sredoje Jelisavčić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ranko Barišić in the 68th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Сербс Јунајтед got a freekick which was hit by Bojan Buzdovan. Sredoje Jelisavčić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ranko Barišić, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ranko Barišić in the 87th minute of play forced Сербс Јунајтед's goalkeeper Sredoje Jelisavčić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Сербс Јунајтед getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Grgur Martinović hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ranko Barišić in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sredoje Jelisavčić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 played minutes Сербс Јунајтед got a freekick which was hit by Dobrašin Boričić. In the 93rd minute, Radmilo Bekan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ranko Barišić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
