Negomir Durutović didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radivoje Stevanović went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Negomir Durutović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milan Spalević in the 9th minute of the match. After 9 minutes of play, Niš's Milan Spalević made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Negomir Durutović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Velika Greda's Negomir Durutović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radivoje Stevanović in the 13th minute of play. Milan Spalević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radivoje Stevanović in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Negomir Durutović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Jugomir Masulović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radivoje Stevanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Negomir Durutović having to interfere. After some careless play in the Velika Greda defense, Milan Spalević kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Negomir Durutović. The Velika Greda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Negomir Durutović should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Nikola Krivokuća had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Negomir Durutović. Velika Greda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikola Krivokuća was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Radivoje Stevanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Negomir Durutović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jovica Lakić kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Radivoje Stevanović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Savo Glogovac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Velika Greda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Niš were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radivoje Stevanović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joksim Čavić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Nenad Bondžulić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radivoje Stevanović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Negomir Durutović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radivoje Stevanović in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Milan Spalević recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Negomir Durutović. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radivoje Stevanović in the 81st minute of play forced Velika Greda's goalkeeper Negomir Durutović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Velika Greda's goal looked a bit too open when Milan Spalević came free, but Negomir Durutović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Savo Glogovac struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Negomir Durutović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niš. Radivoje Stevanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. After 90 played minutes Radivoje Stevanović could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-6 into the left cross. When Savo Glogovac came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Niš fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savo Glogovac couldn't finish the play. Niš's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
