Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ivica Dakić got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Tavankut FK booed when Venom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bojan Stojić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veroljub Gordić kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ivica Dakić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petar Stojčev having to interfere. Dragan Purović kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venom FC's Komnen Otašević got a free kick in the 15th minute. Živorad Borovčanin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vuk Šorgić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Živorad Borovčanin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tavankut FK's Vuk Šorgić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Živorad Borovčanin in the 26th minute of play. Vuk Šorgić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Živorad Borovčanin in the 31st minute of play. Gradimir Bojović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vuk Šorgić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nedeljko Božić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Vuk Šorgić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The long shot by Željko Radojević in the 40th minute really tested Vuk Šorgić's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Živorad Borovčanin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vuk Šorgić having to interfere. Metodije Pečaranin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Venom FC's Nedeljko Božić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vuk Šorgić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Živorad Borovčanin made a kick off. Nedeljko Božić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vuk Šorgić having to interfere. In the 64th minute, one of Tavankut FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tavankut FK. The referee gave Venom FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emil Plavšić, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tavankut FK's Vuk Šorgić. 2-0. Vuk Šorgić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Živorad Borovčanin went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Dragan Purović charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dragan Purović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Tavankut FK's zone, Nedeljko Božić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vuk Šorgić came out of the goal and Nedeljko Božić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragan Purović hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Petar Stojčev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivica Dakić in the 83rd minute of the match. Vuk Šorgić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedeljko Božić in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nedeljko Božić in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vuk Šorgić saved Tavankut FK from getting behind. Veroljub Gordić hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Živorad Borovčanin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venom FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Živorad Borovčanin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vuk Šorgić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Živorad Borovčanin might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vuk Šorgić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Živorad Borovčanin ran back to his position shaking his head. Vuk Šorgić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Živorad Borovčanin, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Venom FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
