After having played for 23 minutes, Vinko Radosavljević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martonoš's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinko Radosavljević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateja Jačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinko Radosavljević in the 27th minute of play forced Novi Bečej's goalkeeper Slobodan Simonović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martonoš's Mateja Jačić got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Novi Bečej's Slobodan Simonović got control of the ball when Mateja Jačić tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Dragan Brašanac fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martonoš's protests and gave Dragan Brašanac a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Martonoš fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! In the 38thth minute of the game Vinko Radosavljević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novi Bečej's Slobodan Simonović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Slobodan Simonović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuzman Masulović in the 39th minute. Vinko Radosavljević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Žarko Dačić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Vinko Radosavljević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novi Bečej's Slobodan Simonović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miodrag Anđelić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Slobodan Simonović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dragan Brašanac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martonoš's supporters rose to their feet, but Dragan Brašanac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slobodan Simonović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miodrag Anđelić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slobodan Simonović having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Novi Bečej was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobrica Kajević to maneuver through the defense. Slobodan Simonović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinko Radosavljević in the 70th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Mateja Jačić made a precise shot to the right of Slobodan Simonović. Novi Bečej's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Martonoš fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Martonoš's Miodrag Anđelić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miodrag Anđelić in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slobodan Simonović saved Novi Bečej from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Vinko Radosavljević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Slobodan Simonović was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After having played for 86 minutes, Miodrag Anđelić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuzman Masulović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slobodan Simonović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinko Radosavljević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miodrag Anđelić struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Slobodan Simonović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martonoš. After 99 minutes of play, Martonoš's Mateja Jačić made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Slobodan Simonović was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Martonoš fully deserved thier win.
