Miljan Mitić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mladen Marunović, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Miljan Mitić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janča Ćesarević in the 6th minute of play. Mladen Marunović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miljan Mitić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Rodoljub Vulić sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemanja Miročević skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FK Tamnava Penzosi's zone, Mladen Marunović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miljan Mitić came out of the goal and Mladen Marunović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Janča Ćesarević managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Ikona Beograd's supporters rose to their feet, but Janča Ćesarević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miljan Mitić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, FK Tamnava Penzosi's goal looked a bit too open when Mladen Marunović came free, but Miljan Mitić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikola Bojić kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Miljan Mitić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mladen Marunović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Janča Ćesarević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Rodoljub Vulić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Jelisije Stojićic sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miljan Mitić skillfully saved the ball. Janča Ćesarević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
