An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinko Radosavljević in the 3rd minute of play forced Sasester Jovanted's goalkeeper Milenko Jakšić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Sasester Jovanted's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatosav Stamatović came free, but Milenko Jakšić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zlatomir Marilović charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zlatomir Marilović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bratoljub Lepović's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Stefan Purović skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sasester Jovanted's zone, Vinko Radosavljević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milenko Jakšić came out of the goal and Vinko Radosavljević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Martonoš booed when Sasester Jovanted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Živojin Šuput didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Martonoš was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateja Jačić to maneuver through the defense. Vinko Radosavljević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Milenko Jakšić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Živojin Šuput hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milenko Jakšić came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Martonoš's Vinko Radosavljević. But to his dismay, Vinko Radosavljević quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Vinko Radosavljević made a precise shot to the right of Milenko Jakšić. Sasester Jovanted's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sasester Jovanted's Milenko Jakšić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinko Radosavljević in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Mateja Jačić notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sasester Jovanted's Milenko Jakšić. Milenko Jakšić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuzman Masulović in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milenko Jakšić saved Sasester Jovanted from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Darko Prvulović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinko Radosavljević took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Milenko Jakšić. Sasester Jovanted's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Sasester Jovanted's goal looked a bit too open when Kuzman Masulović came free, but Milenko Jakšić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuzman Masulović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sasester Jovanted players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Martonoš were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinko Radosavljević to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Vinko Radosavljević put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Milenko Jakšić. The supporters of Sasester Jovanted booed when Martonoš was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatomir Marilović didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ranko Ćetić came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sasester Jovanted fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ranko Ćetić couldn't finish the play. Dragan Majić hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Sasester Jovanted was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blaža Jokić to maneuver through the defense. Miodrag Anđelić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milenko Jakšić having to make a save. In the 78th minute Milan Lakičević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Purović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Purović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bratoljub Lepović in the 80th minute of play. Sasester Jovanted's Milenko Jakšić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Sasester Jovanted from getting a goal against them. Milenko Jakšić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuzman Masulović in the 89th minute. Mateja Jačić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Milenko Jakšić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martonoš played a much better game than Sasester Jovanted and deserved their victory. The Sasester Jovanted players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
