Stefan Purović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mladen Marunović in the 16th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Kuzman Masulović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martonoš's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Ikona Beograd the free kick. Stefan Purović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Petrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Miodrag Anđelić might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nemanja Miročević. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miodrag Anđelić ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, FK Ikona Beograd's Miladin Brđanin got a free kick in the 79th minute. The corner ended in Vinko Radosavljević almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FK Ikona Beograd's Nemanja Miročević did a great save. After some careless play in the Martonoš defense, Janča Ćesarević kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Purović. The Martonoš fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Purović should have stopped the shot. Mladen Marunović came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stefan Purović could save by the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Janča Ćesarević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Purović. Martonoš's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Janča Ćesarević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Radmilo Skorupan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Mateja Jačić sped through FK Ikona Beograd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nemanja Miročević. Nemanja Miročević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miodrag Anđelić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 102 minutes, Miladin Brđanin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Ikona Beograd and the Martonoš players grew even worse after the yellow card.
