Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marijan Preljević in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ljuba Nosović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marijan Preljević in the 22nd minute of play forced Nadrkane sove's goalkeeper Ljuba Nosović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nadrkane sove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Konjarnik Republika the free kick. Milojko Radisavljević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Marijan Preljević put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ljuba Nosović. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Marijan Preljević made the kick off in the second half. The Konjarnik Republika fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Konjarnik Republika's Janko Draganić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Nadrkane sove's goal looked a bit too open when Marijan Preljević came free, but Ljuba Nosović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janko Draganić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Ljuba Nosović made a huge save. Konjarnik Republika were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Nadrkane sove's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cvetko Antić took the corner. The corner led Konjarnik Republika's Vlade Ignjatijević to a score. 1-4 in the 99th minute. The Nadrkane sove fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Konjarnik Republika were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
