In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind fc obilic's goalkeeper Mirsad Vićentijević, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute Predrag Medojević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siniša Đurđić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in fc obilic's zone, Staniša Marković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirsad Vićentijević came out of the goal and Staniša Marković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as Kraljevci's Radislav Nogo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mirsad Vićentijević. That made the score 1-1 after 71 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Radislav Nogo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mirsad Vićentijević to make any attempt to save it. Vukmir Medić was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. The referee gave Kraljevci a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miloš Samardžić, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of fc obilic's Mirsad Vićentijević. 1-3. Mirsad Vićentijević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radislav Nogo in the 89th minute of the match. Siniša Đurđić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazar Đikanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Staniša Marković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
