An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofan Brajković in the 8th minute of play forced Слобода's goalkeeper Milijan Kelečević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milijan Kelečević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Višeslav Stasić in the 9th minute of play. Teofan Brajković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milijan Kelečević breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tatomir Milićev hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Omoljica's Teofan Brajković got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Omoljica's Višeslav Stasić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Milijan Kelečević made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 30 played minutes Слобода got a freekick which was hit by Živko Nićiforović. 30 minutes into the match, Omoljica's Rodoljub Ćatić broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Milijan Kelečević didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofan Brajković went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Teofan Brajković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Višeslav Stasić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tatomir Milićev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodoljub Maleš got free with Milijan Kelečević in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ljuba Todić came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Omoljica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ljuba Todić couldn't finish the play. If Ljuba Todić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodoljub Maleš struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Milijan Kelečević didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Omoljica. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Bratislav Krstić put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Milijan Kelečević. In the 61st minute, Omoljica's Višeslav Stasić ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Milijan Kelečević. Milijan Kelečević yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 64 minutes into the match, Слобода's goal looked a bit too open when Višeslav Stasić came free, but Milijan Kelečević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Слобода's Milijan Kelečević proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Слобода from getting a goal against them. Teofan Brajković who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Milijan Kelečević when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Слобода defense, Teofan Brajković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Milijan Kelečević. The Слобода fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Milijan Kelečević should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Matija Čubrilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milijan Kelečević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Višeslav Stasić in the 76th minute of the match. If Višeslav Stasić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Višeslav Stasić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Слобода's Milijan Kelečević was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Omoljica's Višeslav Stasić in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Слобода's goalie prevented a goal. Omoljica played a much better game than Слобода and deserved their victory. The Слобода players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
