In the 29th minute of the match, Ilija Todorov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ratko Jovanović was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of FK Podrinje booed when FK Hajduk sa Liona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uroš Vuksanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Minja Eterović in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ratko Jovanović saved FK Hajduk sa Liona from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Ilija Todorov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 41st minute Minja Eterović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ratko Jovanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, FK Podrinje failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
