Mirsad Raković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uroš Jovanović having to interfere. Uroš Jovanović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mladen Čonkić's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. KIFC:s Božo Dragišić showed great skill when he stopped Srđan Sekulić:s penalty. Uroš Jovanović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mladen Čonkić in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as KIFC's Vasilj Nikčević slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Uroš Jovanović. That made the score 4-0 after 28 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosije Karapandža in the 34th minute of play forced KIFC's goalkeeper Božo Dragišić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes of play, KIFC's Mladen Čonkić made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uroš Jovanović was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Vasilj Nikčević reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uroš Jovanović. The goal made the score 6-0. Radojica Vesić fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 45th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Radojica Vesić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uroš Jovanović was a little too slow when Milivoj Gogić got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Radovan Drakulović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Konak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KIFC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mladen Čonkić in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uroš Jovanović saved Konak from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Mladen Čonkić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uroš Jovanović was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Božo Dragišić made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Teodosije Karapandža sent off a good shot on target. KIFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
