An unexpectedly hard shot by Budimir Lomić in the 8th minute of play forced Garda™'s goalkeeper Zlatan Perić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vršac FK's zone, Dejan Levnajić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Livaja came out of the goal and Dejan Levnajić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dejan Levnajić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Budimir Lomić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zlatan Perić. Garda™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Budimir Lomić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Zlatan Perić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Budimir Lomić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Garda™ booed when Vršac FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakša Đokić didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jovan Radivojević fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vršac FK's protests and gave Jovan Radivojević a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vršac FK's Jovan Radivojević got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Dejan Levnajić sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstantin Livaja skillfully saved the ball. In the 38th match minute, Vršac FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jovan Radivojević to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Strahinja Sredojević in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantin Livaja saved Vršac FK from getting behind. Mladen Kolarević's late challenge caught a Garda™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mladen Kolarević helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Strahinja Sredojević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantin Livaja was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Strahinja Sredojević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Konstantin Livaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Garda™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vršac FK were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Radovan Mihajlović made the kick off in the second half. Radovan Mihajlović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Momir Milenković took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Konstantin Livaja. Vršac FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Krsta Ristanić fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garda™'s protests and gave Krsta Ristanić a yellow card for diving instead. Krsta Ristanić kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Strahinja Sredojević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantin Livaja was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Konstantin Livaja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Strahinja Sredojević, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Vršac FK's Svetozar Karličić got a free kick in the 70th minute. Budimir Lomić came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zlatan Perić could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vojislav Franović during the 76th minute. Mladen Kolarević got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
