Janko Todić in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miladin Ljubinković, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th minute, Igor Karić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mirsad Raković couldn't finish the play. Radojica Vesićs short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Miladin Ljubinković to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Radojica Vesić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mladen Čonkić to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Srednji Banat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Karić to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Srednji Banat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The supporters of KIFC booed when Srednji Banat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stojmen Komatina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Srednji Banat defense, Stamenko Knežević kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miladin Ljubinković. The Srednji Banat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miladin Ljubinković should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KIFC fully deserved thier win.
