The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as FK ASTRA's Radenko Krsmanović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ljubo Nelević. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. After 12 minutes, Gustav Ekblom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK ASTRA and the Mali Zvornik players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gustav Ekblom kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Slavoljub Ivezic, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Prospero Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Opsenica, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ljubo Nelević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radenko Krsmanović in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mali Zvornik's Simo Veselinović got a free kick in the 18th minute. Zoran Tabaković struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ljubo Nelević didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK ASTRA. Edoardo Mattei hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Prospero Haitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miodrag Martać in the 29th minute of play. Ljubo Nelević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radenko Krsmanović in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Radenko Krsmanović kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ljubo Nelević. That made the score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. The supporters of FK ASTRA booed when Mali Zvornik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Opsenica didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konstantin Opsenica made a kick off. Edoardo Mattei was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 54th match minute, FK ASTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Mattei to maneuver through the defense. Radenko Krsmanović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Ekblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ljubo Nelević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Radenko Krsmanović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ljubo Nelević was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 5-0 came in the 72nd minute when Gustav Ekblom all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ljubo Nelević. Radenko Krsmanović succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. In the 79th minute, Ivan Ješić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes FK ASTRA got a freekick which was hit by Vukota Kujundžić. FK ASTRA's Prospero Haitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save FK ASTRA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radenko Krsmanović in the 84th minute of play forced Mali Zvornik's goalkeeper Ljubo Nelević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Opsenica in the 85th minute of play forced FK ASTRA's goalkeeper Prospero Haitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Radenko Krsmanović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mali Zvornik's Ljubo Nelević was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustav Ekblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Konstantin Opsenica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Haitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK ASTRA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
