In the 21st match minute, Raška was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selimir Ilić to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slaviša Kahriman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zoran Tabaković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damjan Brđanin having to interfere. With a little luck, FK ASTRA's Prospero Haitz got control of the ball when Radoje Mališić tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Zoran Tabaković had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damjan Brđanin. Raška's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zoran Tabaković was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 63 minutes into the match, Raška's goal looked a bit too open when Radenko Krsmanović came free, but Damjan Brđanin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FK ASTRA had played much better football throughout.
