The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Božidar Nedović struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. London Blues's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Slaviša Kahriman scored to the left of an out of position Aleksa Trišović, making the score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Božidar Nedović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damjan Brđanin. Raška's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Božidar Nedović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Božidar Nedović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to London Blues getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Vukoje Nedović hit a great ball. The supporters of Raška booed when London Blues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milan Kutlačić didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, London Blues's Aleksa Trišović got control of the ball when Mile Lerinc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Božidar Nedović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Damjan Brđanin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksa Trišović made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Radoje Mališić sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Milan Kutlačić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksa Trišović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slaviša Kahriman in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Božidar Nedović made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Justin Jakšić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. London Blues's Vukoje Nedović got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slaviša Kahriman in the 80th minute of play forced London Blues's goalkeeper Aleksa Trišović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damjan Brđanin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vukoje Nedović, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the London Blues defense, Jovan Lipovski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksa Trišović. The London Blues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksa Trišović should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Raška's Damjan Brđanin got control of the ball when Božidar Nedović tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Husein Todorić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
