Milovan Šorgić was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Bačko Gradište's goal looked a bit too open when Čeda Mrčić came free, but Milovan Šorgić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Bačko Gradište's Mirko Dujaković made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Negovan Tomanović was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Živadin Paroški got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dejan Ašćerić made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Živadin Paroški fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Negovan Tomanović, passed just outside the right post. 57 minutes into the match, Bačko Gradište's Mirko Dujaković sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Negovan Tomanović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Padinska Skela FK's Negovan Tomanović got control of the ball when Živadin Paroški tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Padinska Skela FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Toma Maksić hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Padinska Skela FK got a freekick which was hit by Milan Poledica. The supporters of Padinska Skela FK booed when Bačko Gradište was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Jašić didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mirko Dujaković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Padinska Skela FK's goalkeeper Negovan Tomanović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Živadin Paroški. Bačko Gradište's Radoman Brajušković got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Jašić during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dejan Ašćerić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Negovan Tomanović made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Radoman Brajušković sent off a good shot on target. Želimir Šišić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Negovan Tomanović having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Padinska Skela FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bačko Gradište had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
