Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zoran Glavanović came out of the goal and Mirko Dujaković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vuk Vučetić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Milovan Šorgić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoman Brajušković in the 19th minute of play forced Rasina's goalkeeper Zoran Glavanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milovan Šorgić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milojko Koleski in the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rasina defense, Mirko Dujaković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zoran Glavanović. The Rasina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zoran Glavanović should have stopped the shot. When Mirko Dujaković came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Bačko Gradište fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mirko Dujaković couldn't finish the play. Mirko Dujaković's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoran Glavanović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Bačko Gradište's Milovan Šorgić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Bačko Gradište from getting a goal against them.

Želimir Šišić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Miodrag Jagodić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bačko Gradište's supporters rose to their feet, but Miodrag Jagodić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zoran Glavanović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rasina's Stanko Blagojević got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Stanko Blagojević fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rasina's protests and gave Stanko Blagojević a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rasina getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Stanko Blagojević hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Želimir Šišić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bačko Gradište's supporters crossed their fingers, but Želimir Šišić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vuk Vučetić in the 72nd minute of play forced Bačko Gradište's goalkeeper Milovan Šorgić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Želimir Šišić took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Zoran Glavanović to make any attempt to save it. Rasina's Zoran Glavanović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Rasina from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Bačko Gradište's Radoman Brajušković slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zoran Glavanović. That made the score 1-5 after 80 minutes of play. 83 minutes into the game, Milojko Koleski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rasina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bačko Gradište the free kick. Zoran Glavanović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoman Brajušković in the 87th minute of play. Bačko Gradište's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
