The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Želimir Šišić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Duško Rašković. Želimir Šišić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Duško Rašković made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Radoman Brajušković sent off a good shot on target. When Perun Sokić fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Airylli's protests and gave Perun Sokić a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Perun Sokić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duško Rašković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoman Brajušković, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Duško Rašković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Živadin Paroški in the 53rd minute of play. The Bačko Gradište fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of Bačko Gradište booed when Airylli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavle Đurić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Igor Jašić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duško Rašković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Airylli's goal looked a bit too open when Radoman Brajušković came free, but Duško Rašković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duško Rašković didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mirko Dujaković went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Duško Rašković came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Bačko Gradište's Želimir Šišić. But to his dismay, Želimir Šišić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoman Brajušković in the 89th minute of play forced Airylli's goalkeeper Duško Rašković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Radoman Brajušković cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Duško Rašković was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 94 played minutes Airylli got a freekick which was hit by Perun Sokić. Želimir Šišić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Duško Rašković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bačko Gradište fully deserved thier win.
