Gojko Dragojević was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 14th minute, Miloš Drinčić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Dražen Milunović put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Petar Gojković. Petar Gojković didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dražen Milunović went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, Dražen Milunović notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC vukovi sa bikare's Petar Gojković. Petar Gojković was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Murat Karapandža received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Petar Gojković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Emil Marinković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Dražen Milunović shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petar Gojković showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Srboljub Hristov kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Lazar Cvijetić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petar Gojković read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dražen Milunović in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petar Gojković prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 45 minutes, Dražen Milunović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Singidunum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dražen Milunović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zoran Kukolj made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Singidunum's Murat Karapandža slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petar Gojković. That made the score 0-6 after 52 minutes of play. Petar Gojković was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Murat Karapandža capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Murat Karapandža really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 67 minutes into the match, Singidunum's goal looked a bit too open when Dragomir Marinković came free, but Nils-Åke Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dražen Milunović in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petar Gojković, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Singidunum's Murat Karapandža in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC vukovi sa bikare's goalie prevented a goal. Petar Gojković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murat Karapandža in the 73rd minute of play. Dražen Milunović came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Petar Gojković could save by the left post. Dražen Milunović kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, FC vukovi sa bikare's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Karapandža came free, but Petar Gojković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Murat Karapandža had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC vukovi sa bikare's Vukosav Jačić got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute Murat Karapandža shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petar Gojković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Singidunum's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
