Stevan Lezajić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Dražen Milunović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murat Karapandža in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stevan Lezajić saved North Korea from getting behind. The supporters of Singidunum booed when North Korea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mladomir Prodanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dražen Milunović got free with Stevan Lezajić in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lazar Cvijetić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murat Karapandža sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Singidunum booed when North Korea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mile Kričković didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stevan Lezajić made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Dražen Milunović sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the game, Tiosav Dragutinović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Korea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Singidunum the free kick. Tiosav Dragutinović kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, North Korea's Stevan Lezajić got control of the ball when Dražen Milunović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ljuba Radivojević scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Åke Axelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murat Karapandža in the 42nd minute of play forced North Korea's goalkeeper Stevan Lezajić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stevan Lezajić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Karapandža, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Stevan Lezajić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murat Karapandža went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Singidunum's Dražen Milunović got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murat Karapandža in the 62nd minute of play forced North Korea's goalkeeper Stevan Lezajić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Singidunum's Martin Anđić to fire away a dangerous shot which Stevan Lezajić despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Korea's goalkeeper Stevan Lezajić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stevan Lezajić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murat Karapandža's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Stevan Lezajić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dražen Milunović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Singidunum fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Singidunum's Murat Karapandža looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Singidunum's Murat Karapandža in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Korea's goalie prevented a goal. When Mladomir Prodanović came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the North Korea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mladomir Prodanović couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in North Korea's zone, Dražen Milunović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stevan Lezajić came out of the goal and Dražen Milunović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Singidunum getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Murat Karapandža hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murat Karapandža in the 91st minute of play forced North Korea's goalkeeper Stevan Lezajić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Dražen Milunović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Korea's Stevan Lezajić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murat Karapandža in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stevan Lezajić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, Singidunum's Dražen Milunović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stevan Lezajić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Singidunum fully deserved thier win.
